Two manicures that were great in my head

A coat of IsaDora - Silver Sparkles layered with BK Holographic Polish - 01
Stamped with my own Mix of Konad - Gold and Black using Konad Plate S9
Details with Essence Season of Extremes - Brightsmates using a dotting tool.

Kleancolor

One coat of Kleancolor - 166 Metallic Fuschia Stamped with
Color Club - Halo-Graphic using Cheeky Image Plate CH53.
When I applied top coat the Metallic polish started "eating up"
the holographic polish. Great for stamping just don't stamp on it.

With Topcoat - Artificail lighting

Halo Nails

I am so glad I got the Color Club Halo Hues Collection. Holographic
polishes just makes me happy. I was at the dentist and while sitting
and waiting for my turn there was this woman who kept stearing at
my nails. Was kinda fun. I guess she liked Halo Hues - Angel Kiss.
And my mouth and teeth are in excellent condition just so you know.

Artificail light

Two coats of Color Club - Angel Kiss. Stamped with
Konad - Deep Jungle Pearl using Image Plate OB42.

Cartoon Nails - NOTD

Pictures everywhere

I'm in the process of moving all photos from 2012 onto an external
hard drive for safe keeping. And while I was going through my pictures
found this Cartoon manicure that I forgot to post here on my blog.

Products used

I started this manicure with a base coat and two coats of Make Up Store - Madeleine.
On that I stamped with Konad - Gold Brown (looks orange) using XL-Image Plate D.
I added more stamping with Konad - Chocolate using Image Plate BM 09 from Bundle
Monster. Then I applied Yoci Monkey Waterdecals (Link HERE) from Born Pretty Store,
and Yellow and Brown Rhinestones on each nail. To seal in the design I used Top Coat.

Isn't it cute! - Do you know the story of Yoci Monkey?

Waterdecals and Rhinestones - NOTW

Yesterday I posted a review of Crystal Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store.
Today you will see a Manicure featuring those fabulouse Crystal Rhinestones.

Products used

I wanted to pare up the light brown Rhinestones (Link HERE) from Born Pretty Store
with dark chocolate colored polish. What better than the polish I just showed swatches
of Essence - 99 Wanna Say Hello - and that I just happened to have on my nails.

On that I applied gold colored waterdecals from Born Pretty Store (Link HERE).
And of course the Crystal Rhinestones. (Se my post from Yesterday for Review).
And what's good about these Crystal Rhinestones is that they don't loose their
shine or shimmer when you apply Top Coat on them. They are of good quality.

I realised that I happen to have a ring with the exact
same color as the Rhinestones. How awesome is that.

Born Pretty Store Rhinestones - First Impressions

Have you ever tried tried Crystal Rhinestones from Born Pretty Store?
I'm not talking about those rhinestone wheels they have. I've tried those.
But this is something else. Now that I have tried these I want every color!

Born Pretty Store Crystal Rhinestones

On the website it says that the material is Crystal. And the exact Sizes
is: SS10 (2.7-2.8mm). I would just say that these are 3mm Rhinestones.
They come in a pack of 144pcs, packaged in a small bag. I put them in a
small container for easy access. I would have gone crazy with the bag.

On the Born Pretty Store Website these are called Yellow Rhinestones.
I would call them Light Brown or Topaz. That are a really pretty soft light
brown color full of shine and shimmer. These are absolutely Gorgeous.

Essence Wanna Say Hello - Swatch

With topcoat
No topcoat

Essence - 99 Wanna Say Hello is a wonderfull chocolate colored creme
polish that is really easy to apply. This is exactly what I have been looking for.
Wanna Say Hello has been in my untrieds for a while. What a bummer. This
polish is an absolutely stunner, for those that like dark brown polishes that is.

No topcoat

This is a quick drying polish that dries really glossy. In my opinion it requires
two coats. I think that just gives it that nice look. Application was smooth saling.

With topcoat

All the photos are with two coats of Essence - 99 Wanna Say Hello,
some photos without Top Coat, and some with Top Coat. The Top Coat
used is Orly - Polishieldone coat. Photos are taken in natural light.

With topcoat

Do you like dark brown polishes?

Magic Pop-Up Pen Review and Photos

Today I will tell you what I found out asking friends on Facebook what to
do with these Magic Pop-Up pens. As the hairdryer did not work, I figured
there had to be an other way. Someone suggested I could try and put it in
the microwave. I did a new card and pimped it with the popcorn pen.

POPCORN!

It really worked. I "poped" (pun intended) the card into the Micro
and on full effect I had it in there for maybe a minute. I think anything
from 30sec to 2 minutes is good. As you see above the green
color did not puff up like the others. I had to do a new test.

Thinking the Green color might now work as good as the Yellow,
Orange and Red, I did a test with all the colors. And found out that all of
them does puff up. Maybe it was the small amount on the green dots that
was the reason for it not to pop. I have no idea. I have to keep on trying.

Even with the nozzle on the pen it is hard to get an even flow because you have
to squeeze the tube. But I guess practice makes perfect. Even with that in mind
I think this product is really fun. Making big shapes or flowers on your cards
and crafts and puffing them in the Microwave oven gives your work that
special touch. This product will be a great addition to your craft supplies.
